No, you do not need to register to post an ad.
Do I have to pay to post an Ad?
Jobs and services category ads cost a dollar. The other categories are free. The price for "Top Ad" and "Homepage Ad" listings vary by location and are shown when selecting these ad types.
How do I post an ad?
Posting is easy. Simply follow the instructions below:
1.) Click the "Post Ad" tab at the top of our website.
2.) Chose a category.
3.) Select an Ad type, enter a title, price (if applicable), and description. You have the option of selecting an area, entering a zip code, placing a location marker on the map, and uploading your photos or videos.
4.) Then enter your email address and click the "Post Your Ad" button. You will then have the option of posting a basic Ad or upgrading to "Top Ad" or "Homepage Ad".
5.) Once your Ad is approved you will be notified by email.
What are the posting rules?
1.) DUPLICATE ADS POSTED TO THE SAME LOCATION ARE NOT ALLOWED.
WE DO ALLOW DUPLICATE ADS POSTED TO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. (In order to post the same ad to different locations be sure to change the ad title slightly or use a different email address each time you post that ad.)
2.) Post in the correct category.
Please post in the correct category as it helps you to reach the right audience and helps the users looking for something to find what they want.
3.) No links to other classifieds, property, dating or job websites.
Please do not put a link in your posting to an ad on another website.
We reserve the right to refuse or delete postings with or without notice to you that we believe are inappropriate or which breach our terms and conditions.
How can I include images / videos in my Ad?
1.) Images
When you are on the "Post Ad" or "Edit Ad" page, click the "Browse..." button which appears under the Images heading. Select a picture file from your computer and click "OK". The picture will then be uploaded and attached to your Ad. You can upload other pictures using the same process. Remember a picture is worth a thousand words !
2.) Videos
When you are on the "Post Ad" or "Edit Ad" page, enter the YouTube URL of your video. The video will then appear automatically in your Ad. Remember a video is worth ten thousand words !
How can I edit, repost or delete my ad from the site?
Ads can only be edited by registered users. If you are a registered user you can edit or delete your Ad from the "my place" tab.
How long do Ads last on the site?
Ads are automatically removed from the site 60 days after being posted.
I have been a victim of a scam/ I suspect a scam what should I do?
Report it to us so that we can take appropriate action. If you have been a victim of a scam we also encourage you to report it to the Police.
What should I do if I see an Ad that I think is spam, offensive, miscategorized or illegal?
If you see an ad which you think is illegal, prohibited or otherwise a bad fit for the site, please report it by clicking "Report this Ad". Illegal Ads can also be reported by contacting us.
